- Court action: If a creditor starts legal action, the claim is usually filed in the NSW Local Court. Do not ignore court documents. There are strict time limits to respond, so get advice quickly.
- Credit and loans: Complaints about banks, lenders and debt collectors go to Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), which is free and covers the whole of Australia.
